HIDDEN FACES

We can capture the juxtaposition of new and old, ancient and contemporary, classic and modern, sometimes in a hat worn by a woman we suddenly meet on the street, sometimes in the exterior of a building and sometimes in a tribal African chief meandering through the streets of New York. In the modern world where urbanization is happening so fast, societies now combine the influence of different eras and cultures from different periods in the same time. How people reveal or hide themselves with style and fashion is an extremely interesting phenomenon. In this regard, a number of things that I point my camera at enter the frame of my lens at the point where the ultra-modern and traditional meet. The underlying principle of this series is to show that these opposing phenomena are both in conflict and relationship by juxtaposing them.
