BEHIND FACES
 

My purpose is to capture on camera the identity problems that individuals face in the increasingly global world in which we live. The conflict between tradition and modernity results in the birth of alternative identities. In my opinion, an individual’s relationships with culture and the environment determine their ethnic identity. However, I believe that the individual’s ethnic values are still preserved in this lifestyle, which is rapidly becoming global. In this process of hybridization, the societies of the world are faced with certain dangers in spite of the level of prosperity that has been attained in the world. This also causes the emergence of lifestyles in societies that go to extremes. It will be interesting to capture visual images of the secrets and mysteries of individuals living these extremes. We may identify important aspects of identity and alternative identities in our social lives.
